Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Voices platform (“Service”) operated by Voices, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Voices is a speaker operating system that helps professional speakers manage their profiles, discover speaking opportunities, generate pitches, track their pipeline, and access educational content through Voices Academy. The Service is available via subscription and select one-time purchases.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Voices, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@thevoices.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

Voices offers paid subscription plans billed on a monthly or annual basis, as well as one-time course purchases. Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period. All purchases are processed through Polar and are subject to their payment terms.

Free trials, where offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel beforehand. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain access until that date.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Course purchases come with a 30-day money-back guarantee — contact us at hello@thevoices.app within 30 days of purchase to request a refund.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Voices, including profile information, testimonials, media, and pitches (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and warrant that it does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any applicable laws.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without our express written permission
• Introduce malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Spam other users or post misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content

All intellectual property in the Service — including the platform, design, code, logos, and educational content — belongs to Voices, LLC or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to use our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service as intended.

The Service integrates with third-party services including Clerk (authentication), Supabase (data storage), Polar (payments), and others. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOICES, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voices, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 7, 9, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orlando, Florida.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
